Point of view

Living here has taught me to understand that this society communicates in a very indirect way, with little to no confrontations. I realize how direct I am, and how I need to become more diplomatic in this society. It means I need to understand people better before I try to accomplish anything. My boss for example,I have to make nice with him so I can have a good reference until I find a different job. Being straightforward is a trait that I appreciate and practice but is seen as rude; this will take some adjustment.
