So, I tried posting on lonely planet, but really didn't find a lot of others who are actually living abroad and want to talk about it. I also find that it's too public to post stuff about myself. So, here is a new way to talk about how my life is here in Syria.
I agree - this is much better, and you won't get weird uninvited comments from people who know nothing about you!

I think I'll just start this blog from this point on... sorry about the profanity, it was after the 3rd or 4th attempt (the others kept getting erased)
